Bossmo
Observatory is located in a suburban area near Mo i Rana, Norway (at 66°
20' 27'' north and 14° 06' 54'' east). It houses a 25 cm SCT @ f/4 with a SBIG ST-7 CCD camera and Schuler BVRI
filters.
It is used for photometric studies of variable stars, mostly Delta Scuti stars,
but also cataclysmic variables as part of the
CBA network, or others as
requested by e.g. the AAVSO.
All observations are, with time, submitted to the
AAVSO
International Database, and most of the time series are available under
the observation log section.
I also use the RAS Observatory
in New Mexico. During the bright northern summer, this is the only way for
me to observe.
I will try to update the web site with current activities, methods used for reducing and
analysing data, equipment checks and various projects.
